My father was admitted with a devastating diagnosis. During this overwhelming time, Rashad stood out in a way that we’ll never forget. As an advanced practice nurse, I saw the value of Rashad's care through both a medical and patient-experience lens. What made Rashad truly extraordinary was that he never allowed the intensity of the situation to overshadow the human side of nursing.
