I was having a really bad day with only one aide on the floor. I told Rashida because she was the charge nurse. I was frustrated and overwhelmed. Even though she was in the middle of something, Rashida immediately came to my rescue. She noticed I was upset and almost in tears. She pulled me to the side and let me talk out my frustration. Then, she helped me bathe, change patients and assisted one to the bedside commode. She made me feel like I had support through my bad day. I hope you bless Rashida with the DAISY award because she is definitely a team player.
