I am so happy to say I had the chance to encounter this amazing nurse. She cared for me hand and foot, always offering reassurance about my condition. She constantly reminded me that I was in great hands, and I know she went above and beyond—because even in the scariest moments of my life, I wasn’t afraid.
She spoke peace over me. I went into surgery with the courage of a lion, thanks to her care and words of encouragement. She checked on me often, always with grace and joy. She even held my hand and prayed with me. She is truly an angel who made all my fears disappear.
It’s incredible how one person’s presence can change everything—she has that kind of presence. I had her by my side during the most important part of my healing journey at Saint Mary’s. She gave me the strength to believe I could make it through my illness with God and this healthcare team. After her prayer, I knew I was going to be okay, and all my worries melted away.
