Raylene Ross, BSN, RNC-OB

I would like to recognize Raylene for the extraordinary care and compassion she provided during my C-section. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to support me, both physically and emotionally.

She held my hand while I was getting my spinal tap, offering comfort and reassurance when I needed it most. During the procedure, she continued to check on me, holding my hand, hugging me, and making sure I was okay every step of the way. Her presence made an overwhelming experience feel more manageable, and I felt truly cared for.

After surgery, Raylene stayed by my side, keeping me informed about everything that was happening. Despite it being her lunch break, she chose to stay with me because I was feeling severely nauseous and my medications hadn’t arrived yet. That level of dedication and empathy is rare, and it meant the world to me.

Raylene didn’t just do her job - she made me feel like a person, not just a patient. Her kindness, selflessness, and unwavering support are what make her an exceptional nurse, and I am beyond grateful for everything she did for me. She is truly deserving of this recognition!
