Ray is a very well-rounded nurse, clinical coordinator, co-worker and friend. He is committed to excellent patient care shown by his sincere interactions with patients and families and by being supportive of the nursing staff with their care of patients. Ray is a clinical expert in all areas of intensive care, documentation and equipment. He has taken all required classes as well as seeks courses outside of NWHMC to contribute to his nursing practice and leadership. He prides himself and can be credited with the initiation of the mentorship program. He is a role model and has taught students in a formal setting as well as "on the fly" in the unit. He has truly embraced the customer service expectation and also models this on regular basis. He deserves the DAISY Award!
