Words cannot express our gratitude for the compassion and care Ray Wolfe gave not only to my husband, who was under his care, but to our family. My husband's first language is Italian, and Ray took the time to try to understand my husband’s needs and concerns. The first morning Ray walked in the door, he pulled up a chair, sat next to my husband, and talked with him. The compassion and kindness brought tears to my eyes. My husband was/is in pain because of spinal and lung cancer. Ray spent time with my husband to understand how to help ease the pain. When Ray walked into the room, I could see my husband's face relaxing. My husband had faith in Ray.

Ray went more than the extra mile. Ray went the distance with my husband. He shaved him. Made him a special coffee and helped him understand why certain medicine was being taken. I cannot express enough the genuine kindness Ray showed. I work in the service industry and understand the difference between helping the ‘patient’ and helping the person. Ray addressed my husband by name and was able to make my husband smile! Ray is truly a ‘Ray of Sunshine’! My husband is home on Hospice now and, unfortunately, heavily medicated... he tells us to wait for Ray to come into the room to help.
