While hospitalized at EvergreenHealth Monroe and after receiving some difficult health news, I was placed on the med/surg unit and my nurses were all great. Raynee though treated me as if I were an old friend, or like family. I love him so much, there isn't room here and I could not write enough to describe this wonderful man and most astounding nurse.
He explained everything to me and made me more comfortable with procedures and planning. He spent time with me while I processed everything that was said and done to me. Raynee was my touchstone through this whole ordeal. We talked, shared, and laughed so much. It was so much fun. Then there are the very special things.
One night he bundled me up in a wheelchair and took me outside to see the moon. Another night he brought me a special salad and on another, twice watered down my soda. Raynee stayed on top of my pain management. One of his aides got me a recliner, bless her heart, to alleviate pain in my hips and legs and later Raynee got me the special bed when it became free. Make no mistake he takes his job seriously.
I woke from surgery a new person and this also has a great deal to do with the compassionate, empathetic knowledgeable experienced nurses Raynee has worked with and trained, and then there is Raynee himself. May God bless and keep this wonderful soul, we need him. I love him. I thank God every day for sending me the real deal angel of mercy I am so blessed and fortunate and I had the greatest time while I was hospitalized. Thank you.
