A patient's family member praised Reagan. This patient was a cancer patient with life-ending pneumonia. Reagan gave excellent and kind bedside care to the family and above and beyond professional "extremely compassionate" care to the patient. This patient's husband was teary-eyed when he told me that he and his wife, aged 75, were high school sweethearts and still loved each other very much. He went on to tell me how Reagan was meant for this job. Her voice, her skills, her TLC, and her bedside manner were noticed. Reagan is one of our new nurses (in residency) and showed what a great nurse she already is and how much her care impacted this family. She made the patient comfortable, kept her clean, and comforted the whole family. Reagan did an Excellent job and we are so thankful to her for helping this patient and the family during their end-of-life journey.
