I’ll start by saying Reagan has gone over and beyond as a nurse and is responsible for taking quick action which ultimately saved my father’s life. Reagan entered my father’s ICU room to perform her usual duties when she overheard my father and I expressing some concerns we were having with his overall progress and what we should do to figure things out. Reagan could have ignored our concern, but she stopped, asked what was wrong and she listened. She then took the initiative to discuss things over with the doctor who then immediately ordered additional scans to be done, which identified a life-threatening issue, that left untreated would have taken my father’s life.

I will never stop thanking her enough for her unwavering commitment to take care of her patients. If she did not act immediately the way she did, I would have watched my father die right before my eyes. The world needs a million more Reagans! She no doubt is the most amazing nurse I’ve ever encountered. She’s a leader, she’s skilled, and shows compassion in all she does. Please honor this well deserving young lady because your hospital is a better place because of her! If I recognize all our nurses and doctors, I would. The MICU 1is a special unit! I thank God for the entire crew that helped my father!
