Becky is a nurse coordinator whom I met this past year as I was trying to successfully relate important healthcare information from my medical team at the U of MN Hospital/Clinic to my local medical team in Duluth, MN. The state of our present healthcare systems has made everyone’s positions more difficult, including that of the patient. The “new” process has become difficult for patients to navigate. The “old” system was a much more efficient way, especially in communicating clearly and efficiently with the patient and their doctors.

This is my opinion, but while going through my latest healthcare concerns, other patients I have met feel the same. Once Becky became a part of my medical team, she was able to make information flow much more efficiently and quickly. Her kind, caring heart, with an abundance of professionalism and a dash of humor, has made a world of difference for my family and me as I continue to be challenged with an odd carcinoid tumor of the bronchus/lung and other health issues. There are angels amongst us!
