A patient on 6E had a birthday and no family or friends called or came to see him on his birthday. The 6E staff bought a small birthday cake and made a Halloween candy bag and signed a birthday card. The gifts were presented to the patient as the staff sang Happy Birthday. What a wonderful gift and act of kindness. (this is probably this person’s last birthday on earth).
