Rebecca DeVries took the time to listen to everything I have been through and made me feel understood with my situation and all I have been through with my mental health and suicidal struggles. She gave me a sense of hope I hadn't felt in years. She advocated for me when I felt I wasn't being heard by others and when I needed medication. She offered me comfort, and I would have left if it hadn't been for her. Most likely, I wouldn't be here anymore. Nurses like Rebecca save lives and live up to the mission of MercyOne.
