She spent so much time explaining things to me and advocated for me when I felt overwhelmed
I attended the labour ward at 32 weeks pregnant with complications that meant labour started.  The room was full of people, and I was not expecting the baby to require delivering at all, my partner wasn’t even present at points.

Becky listened to every one of my worries and concerns. She spent so much time explaining things to me and advocated for me when I felt overwhelmed and the doctors didn’t understand what I was trying to tell them due to me being very anxious.

Her outstanding care meant a pre-term birth that would otherwise be extremely traumatic was slightly enjoyable despite all the concerns and baby being rushed away.

There aren’t words to thank her for what she did that day. She was so calm and never made me feel rushed. She’s an absolute asset to your maternity department.  Making the birth as calm as possible and making me feel well-informed meant I felt able to create a wonderful bond with my son immediately.
