I want to thank Rebecca for her amazing care and nominate her for the DAISY Award. Unfortunately, I became a patient following the birth of a beautiful healthy baby which led to complications and ultimately the need for life saving surgery and an extended stay in the hospital. While in the ED, Rebecca was my nurse. I was so anxious and afraid to close my eyes in fear that I would die. Rebecca was exactly what I needed; her soft, calm demeanor was reassuring. She made it known that I was her priority. She accompanied me to MRI to maintain the monitor and then to the Operating Room. She calmed my fears and I felt safe! She could not have been more accommodating. She provided a real sense of reassurance that I was going to be okay. Thank you, Rebecca! She exemplifies our ICARE values and deserves the DAISY Award.
