Becky has always been an outstanding nurse, but she went out of her way for a very sick patient. This patient just underwent a major surgery and ended up with an ostomy and ileo conduit. The patient was discharged and when they arrived home, they realized they did not have a very important connector for the ileo conduit. They called Becky because they were not able to get Home Health. After Becky ended her shift, she drove two hours to meet the patient, and it was during a thunderstorm.
