Rebecca Hillesheim, RN

Becky is an exceptional nurse leader and very deserving of this award. She works hard to implement the primary care transformation initiatives. She builds buy-in through huddles and rounding with her staff. Two great examples are the increase in RN led visits and max packing. Redwood is one of the leading clinics in the system for RN led visits, which Becky and Dr. Friese will be presenting about at the PCT Summit. There is currently 0% turnover in her department, which reflects the great culture she has built. Another example of her leadership is the recent zero deficiency survey from The Compliance Team. Becky also helps her team by pitching in when short-staffed and being a compassionate and empathetic leader. She includes staff from adjacent departments in events to help them feel welcomed and a part of the team. Becky is a great asset to our team and very deserving of recognition.
