Rebecca has been a member of the Bereavement Team for 2 years at WCH. She has worked diligently to standardize all of the interventions. She has taken all of the "best practices" throughout WCH as patient's have the potential to experiences losses in other units, as well as Labor and Delivery. Although it would not be considered a fetal demise, Rebecca went to the Emergency Department to assist the staff in dealing with an early second semester loss, which is above and beyond what would be an expectation. Rebecca always puts the needs of the patients first. She is a very humble and genuine person. Rebecca's contribution to the bereaving families is a great example of marrying the art and science of nursing.
