It was the second time I got to hold my baby boy skin to skin and all went well up towards the end. My baby's color changed and numbers started to drop and Becky Powell was very fast and calm. Becky asked me if I could step out while they checked the baby and told me that she would come to update me as soon as they were done. I was waiting in the waiting room, nervous and scared, crying and praying as I waited for her. Then Becky came out and told me and Dad that he is okay and there was a little bit of water that got in his tube somehow. She was crying with me assuring me my son was okay and asked if she could pray for my son with me and Dad, so she did and made us feel very good and relieved after everything. I thanked her so much for acting so fast and being professional and very caring. All the nurses and staff in the NICU are awesome and we love all of them, but Becky holds a special place in our hearts and my baby’s. Thank you Becky for everything and caring for my boy like your own. We love you!
