With gratitude and apperception, a patient and his wife recognized Rebecca Keel for her outstanding compassion, kindness, commitment, and determination to save this patient's life. She was persistent to get the patient a doctor who would help him. He ended up with emergency surgery and in the hospital for 11 days. When the patient's wife was beyond exhausted and tired, and sleep deprived, Rebecca was there with a listening ear. She stayed with them through the tears and heartbreak. The patient stated she was an angel and a ray of sunshine in the storm. Someone to lean on and help them on their long journey ahead. They felt if Rebecca hadn't been persistent the patient would have lost his life.
