Professor Lovelock has impacted me in a way that encourages me to never give up and helping me to understand that it's never too late to pursue my goals. She explains the lesson plans thoroughly as well as ensuring that I understand. Sometimes just an, "are you okay?' can go a long way. I am a single mother of three children, and she answers my questions in a way to ensure that I don't feel out of place or as if I'm unable to gain knowledge in the lessons. She has personally reached out to me when I was having trouble with learning how to think critically, and she directed me to websites to help with revamping my brain to think in a way to apply what I know. It was for my critical reasoning class, in which she doesn't teach, and she advised me that it will help me as a nurse as well. So, her concern goes beyond her class material, but she cares and shows interest in my needs as a person which will benefit me in a promising career.
