Becky took the time after her shift to go to a patient's house to help him with his Foley catheter after his surgery. The patient was having trouble switching from the bedside drainage bag to a leg bag. On her own time that evening, Becky went to the patient's house and assisted him with this task, then trained him and his wife how to do this on their own.
The following night Becky returned to their house and trained the patient and wife how to remove the catheter for when the time came. The patient and his wife were very appreciative!
