I am back in CHI Good Sam for my 4th colonoscopy. Becky Molacek was the first nurse we met, and she was professional yet friendly. When I was on the gurney in the prep room, J came in to put in my IV and do other tasks. She, too, was professional even when my veins were not cooperating. She listened to my concern about a needle placement in the back of my hand and talked me through what she was doing. I tend to be a bit of a joker when I'm a little nervous, and they matched my humor and made for an enjoyable prep time before surgery. After the surgery, A came in to see me several times, and we joked about the birthday food in the nurses' area. She paid attention to me, and again it felt like chatting and laughing with a friend!

All three women were so kind! Now I’m not going to say having a colonoscopy is an enjoyable experience, but these three women closed ranks and met me where I was in terms of humor and friendliness while being kind and professional both before and after my surgery. I won't need another surgery of this type for a year, and I will recommend CHI Good Sam and for the excellent, compassionate, and professional care I received.

Thank you, Rebecca, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
