December 2023 Honoree
Rebecca Nave 2023, RN, BSN, CRRN
While our family's verbal expressions of gratitude were non-ending, our written expression of sincere and deep appreciation are long overdue in recognizing her outstanding qualities and humanistic, loving, caring characteristics inherent in the make-up of Rebecca. Mere words seem inadequate and will never convey to others the love, care, dedication, and concern she had shown to our brother and to our family during his stay. Rebecca chose to impact and to make a tremendous difference in his life and in the lives of each of our family members during his stay. Her daily presence, the stories she shared, and the love and warmth she exuded during each visit made a tremendous difference. There were late evening visits that Rebecca stopped in to see us prior to going home. She would personally take care of his needs when she didn't have to. It was as if he was the only patient and we were the only family. She was never too busy. She was a regarded, caring, and trusted advisor in her unselfish, unending extension of herself to provide comfort. Her knowledge and talent have not gone unnoticed. She will always be remembered. She was that special angel sent to help our family.
Thank you, Rebecca, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
