Rebecca Reuland was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient who touted Becky's compassionate, dedicated care. The nominator, also a Winchester Hospital employee, was cared for by Becky while recovering from gastric by-pass surgery.
"I was vomiting...Becky held my hand, rubbed my back while injecting me with anti-nausea meds...She stayed with me until everything finally calmed down. She checked on me contantly. She also found another nurse who had gone through the same surgery to speak with me".
