My husband is taking Radiation treatment at the Cancer Center. He missed an appointment due to a MID stroke the day before. This would cause him to add a day to his treatment. When Rebecca knew he was going to be released that evening, she got on the phone and called the Cancer Center, requesting that they see him that evening. Their response was that if he could be there by 5 (closing time), they would treat him. Not only did she get him released and ready to go by 4:45, but she insisted that she wheel him from the hospital to the center so we wouldn’t have to take the time for me to get the car, load him in, drive there, and then get him out of the car. She wanted to make sure he made that appointment. He was in the waiting room before I arrived with the vehicle. She deserved to be recognized for going above her duties to ensurehe got his treatment that day. Thank you, Rebecca, for your compassion and concern for my husband.
