I had the most amazing and caring nurse during my stay at Grandview, Rebecca Sanders. As I stated to her, she didn't just take care of my physical needs, she helped me mentally. I realized in the hospital that I was unable to bounce back like I'm used to, and I got a little depressed, and without saying a word she knew it. It was just her kind words and reassurance that I would be fine and to just take baby steps. We could tell she was being pulled in every direction at times, but she never let it show. That woman was a gift from God for me. A person that, while we only were together for a brief time, she will stay in my heart forever. I posted on social media, trying to locate her so I could thank her, and the response was amazing! Everyone was helping me find her and all the kind words about Grandview were unbelievable. You should be very proud of your people. The staff was so kind, and they would always poke their head in the door and ask if everything was ok. Thank you for the kindness during my stay.
