Rebecca took the time to understand how often I felt pain and how I felt pain and how affected my life and adapt to the treatment so that it was individualised holistic care.
Migraine is a completely debilitating condition that not many people understand and is often misunderstood as a headache. After years of trying both NHS and private treatments, I was finally referred for the life-changing treatment of Botox. Initially, I was really excited about this but after the first few goes, didn’t notice much of an effect. Appointments for Botox were fast and the practitioners didn’t have the time to understand the nature of the pain and how it affected my day-to-day life. That is until I met Rebecca. Rebecca is the first healthcare practitioner I have met who I felt truly understood what migraine was, and how it completely can affect the lives of those that suffer from it. Rebecca took the time to understand how often I felt pain and how I felt pain and how affected my life and adapt to the treatment so that it was individualised holistic care. This has resulted in a truly life-altering change in my quality of life. Rebecca, you are truly one-of-a-kind and you have made my life so much better. Please know that you are making such a big difference and you are appreciated. As a midwife myself, I understand that compassion fatigue is a real thing and that you show all five trust values when you care. You truly took the time to make me feel like a patient on the list, but as an individual who deserved care. Thank you so much.
