Rebecca went above and beyond for a patient with a poor prognosis. She would always check in with the family even if she was not assigned to care for the patient. She showed true compassion for this family by coming in on her off days to sit with the family and talk with them. When the decision was made to withdraw care, she was at the patient's side holding hands and comforting the family as the patient passed away. The family was touched by Rebecca's care they referred to her as an "empowered individual" stating she was a "unique soul who will pass through your life for a minute and impact it for an eternity".
