Patient unable to contact Animal Control and the police didn't know what
to do after patient and two pets were potentially bitten by bat. Called
her MD's office and reached after hours nurse triage (PCHA). Becky made
some phone calls; phoned MD and hospital. Got information number for
lab in Raleigh for patient. This for rabies vaccine information.
Patient states, "Becky was absolutely wonderful, professional, and
knowledgeable...she went beyond the call of duty, and I really
appreciate her determination.
