Rebecca Taft, RN

I recently had an amazing experience with a nurse named Rebecca Taft in the MICU. One of our volunteers and a dear friend of mine was in the MICU for over a week. The care he received was so amazing, but one person truly stood out. Just briefly, I think the reason he was able to make the progress he made is because of the incredible care he received from Rebecca Taft. She went so far above and beyond to make him comfortable, to keep him motivated and inspired for his recovery, and to keep pushing him to gain strength even when it was hard. She did it all with the sunniest demeanor and just absolutely lit up the room every time she was in it. Even after he was moved to another floor, Rebecca came to check in on him and spend her lunch break with him. I have so many stories from her time caring for him that demonstrate what an exemplary caregiver, nurse, and human being she is.
