I worked with Becky one day last week, and on our lunch break she asked if I wanted to go to the gift shop. She went in and bought flowers for a patient whom she'd taken care of the day before on a different unit. The patient had been given a difficult diagnosis the day before and has no family in the state with them. She left the flowers with the volunteers to deliver to the patient. She didn't do this for any recognition. She just genuinely wanted to brighten an otherwise dark day. She does this type of thing often. This is just one specific example.
