Her professionalism and the desire to help her peers is something exceptional. Thank you, Rebecca!
In 2011, I suffered a huge accident in which they had to amputate my left leg below the knee: the physical recovery was quite painful, and I will be honest, accepting my New "me" is something I work on day by day. Every time I have to enter an emergency room, I cannot stop the memories from coming back, as well as the traumas and despair.
Today I had to go back into an emergency room and I can say that the experience was very different from the previous ones. The nurse I was assigned not only did her job well but went further, she was truly compassionate; she cared for me as if I were a loved one, and thanks to her excellent work and attention, I managed to control my anxiety during the process. Her professionalism and the desire to help her peers is something exceptional. Thank you, Rebecca!
