Rebecca is an Extraordinary Nurse because she not only gives medicine but is medicine to the heart and mind. She is always the consummate professional, always inquiring about my condition between treatments and always providing any and all that is requested and willing to explain results or find answers to any questions my wife or I may have. There was a time when the insertion of the port needle caused some noticeable discomfort (due to scar tissue) she inquired several times during my treatment and after I left she called to inquire about my well-being. That is a quality that only those who have passion for what they do beyond their profession cause what they do to become their craft. As we know every day has its highs and lows, especially in this type of care, my wife and I have never seen those lows that do come from time to time. All the nurses are great, Rebecca has a quality that all nurses should admire and seek to acquire. As we have been coming to the center for quite some time and when we don’t have Rebecca we know that someone else is getting an experience that will last more than just that day. It makes the appointment more of a meeting with a good friend than a treatment. Like my wife and I, we are always looking for a way to brighten the day for everyone there. Rebecca is just special.
