I met Nurse Becky Walters when my Grandma went into the ICU. We thought at first that my Grandma was going to get better, but it ended up being far worse than that. When Becky found out, the compassion, empathy, and love she exhibited toward us was something we had not encountered before. She got us snacks, drinks and coffee, extra chairs, hugs, and tears. I felt like I was hugging a family member when she comforted me while I cried. I think she is the epitome of what a real Nurse looks like and I hope she knows how much I appreciate her kindness towards me and my family. Thank you for making the terrible situation we found ourselves in into the best that it could be with your love and support.
