Professor Zalenski is the most supportive clinical instructor I have had at D’Youville by far. She challenges you with questions and discusses fascinating topics that make you think. She supports you through every skill and assessment if you need it. Becky is personable, kind, empathetic, and fun. The relationship she has with the medical staff, patients, parents, and us clinical students is of the utmost importance to her, making you feel comfortable and answering any questions you may have. D’Youville should be proud to have her on their team.

Professor Zalenski is such an amazing instructor and my favorite one thus far in my clinical journey! I have learned so much in the few weeks I had her than I did in my 2 years of nursing school. She really cares about her students and offered open arms to us from the beginning. I left our first day together with such joy because I knew I was going to have a good instructor. She is diligent and so intelligent in her work and is always educating us thoroughly by walking us through things, as well as making sure we understand before she moves on. She understands how we feel and nursing school and makes sure we are taking time for ourselves. She is the sweetest person and is always laughing with us. She really did leave an impact on my nursing school journey and I’ll never forget her!
