April 2024 Honoree
Rebecka M Lingenfelter, RN, BSN
I was scared sick, hallucinating, pericarditis & pneumonia in both lungs & to the point that I didn't care to live. However, an angel with the title of Nurse/RN had other plans for me. They had me hooked up to multiple IVs and drawing blood like I was a lake of blood. I was so mean to that poor girl, kicking her, yelling at her, swearing so much at her. God Almighty should have taken me there and then. However, not going unnoticed, she had a strong gait like that of an angel. Her body language has a calming effect. She told me, "B, we will walk out of this together; I'm an RN." And she sure as hell didn't lie.
Thank you, Rebecka M, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
