The patients at the wound care clinic continually seek me out to compliment Rebekah on her kindness, her compassion, and her nursing expertise. She is frequently requested by patients to care for them when they come to the clinic.
Rebekah's co-workers rely heavily on her for her knowledge of processes, clinical judgment and her decision making throughout each day. She is trusted by me to be in Charge during my absences in the clinic. She heads up our Unit Based Council and with her leadership, has assisted in putting processes into place in to increase patient safety and clinical outcomes, including teaching the clinic's tech staff to perform wound care so we can expand the number of patients that can be seen at any given time, thereby decreasing the wait time for patients.
