She motivates all of us to become better caring and compassionate people.
Bekah is an outstanding leader. She is always looking out for her staff. The environment she creates for us is a trusting and respectful unit. It makes you feel that you are never alone, teamwork is always promoted by her leadership team and it starts with her. She motivates all of us to become better caring and compassionate people. We have had ten Student Nurse Apprentice employees on our unit this year, eight of them stayed on our unit and the other two had a passion for ICU and ED. Bekah was happy to see them enjoy success, but the eight that stayed should tell us something.
She is always offering her knowledge and education to us. Bekah looks for the good in all of us. Bekah has done many projects to help with safety and caring for our patients and all Lee Health patients from being a great Stroke Coordinator to making a difference for us all one day. Coming from the ED where she also was a lead on “Code Stemi”, “Code Stroke” and Lean projects. The endless hours she put in help us all. She is always behind our staff and will go on the unit and help with patients. She always jumps right in. I feel that Bekah makes our units stand out. Thanks, Bekah for all you do!
