We want to thank and show our deepest gratitude toward nurse Rebekah. She has been like God’s angel who helped our son to recover from the almost death bed to slowly becoming normal now.
Our son was admitted here on the 25th of April with symptoms of less activity and no feeding. Right from the next day he became unconscious and went on to become intubated. For the first 9 days, all the medical staff was clueless as all the possible diagnoses became normal.
As the nurse is the person who spent most of the time with a patient, Rebekah observed our son and researched regarding his symptoms from the medical journals/ internet. She found out that most of his symptoms matched to a rare disease called Infant Botulism which kind of block the nervous muscular junctions. Rebekah communicated these findings to the doctor and they agreed to test it and the preliminary result came positive and our son got the antitoxin dose for the disease on time. Therefore we want to thank her for extraordinary care!
