Bekah Pittman is an RN that works as the night shift Solid Tumor Coordinator on 2South. This last week on a Thursday night, our floor was very short on nurses with several high acuity patients. It was very stressful and a busy night for all of us on the floor. During the most stressful hours of the night, Bekah acted as a resource nurse for us. She anticipated our needs and our patients' needs and was right there "in the trenches" with us. She went above and beyond the call of duty for us this night. This is just one example among MANY.

Bekah, is always working to advocate for the nurses on our unit as our coordinator and always ready to lend a hand when it's needed. When looking at the list of highly valued attributes and qualities listed above, Bekah really and truly embodies and demonstrates them all. She is an incredible asset to the Solid Tumor team and we are incredibly blessed to have her as our coordinator!
