July 2024 Honoree
Reeshma Tyner, RN
“A Friendly Greeting,” as I remembered it last Friday, I had just fallen out of my chair at home and did a rug burn slide over the carpet, landing on my left side. Besides a large amount of skin peeled off my left arm, we rushed over to the urgent care in Maricopa. Of course, it happened to be Reeshma, my personal nurse, who we saw. Well, I had come to the right place and had the right nurse. When these accidents continue to happen to me, I need care and help, not criticism and snark. I received help from Reeshma, which eased my pain both physically and mentally. I truly do not want to return again, but if I do, guess who I want for my nurse?.. Sometimes, we run across folks who really care, not what they say but what they do. Thank you Reeshma, I hope to see you again but anywhere except urgent care.
Thank you, Reeshma, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
