I am still here for an aortic valve replacement. My night nurse Regan is the most caring compassionate competent nurse I have had to date. I was telling her about some of my life the past 4 months with heart attacks and CPR being performed on me and such. She could tell how emotional I was getting and she offered to pray with me. She actually got on her knees, held my hands, and prayed over me. She went above and beyond what any nurse has ever done for me. The care she gave me was the best I have had. She made me feel peace and comfort when I felt my world was crashing down on me. I am scared, nervous, depressed, and hurting. You don’t want to lose her as a nurse. If you ever lost her it would be the worst thing for your hospital. I will be here until I have a minimally invasive valve replacement this next week. I pray that she gets credit for a job above and beyond her duties.
