One of the many instances in which Regina has exemplified superior patient care occured recently. Regina was the charge nurse on the unit and we were short staffed. I was overloaded with my patient assignments and she ensured my patient still received fabulous care by passing medications, taking my patient down to MRI and speaking with patient's families. As a whole unit, the ICU is extremely grateful to have Regina as a teamplayer, fellow nurse and charge nurse. I know my staff members would attest to the fact that patient satisfaction is increased with Regina on the unit. I believe that she deserves recognition for her diligence.
