Regina Narus, RN, ADHO

Regina is an outstanding Nurse leader who is very committed to working in the most hard-to-reach and hard-to-stay region of Karamoja in Eastern Uganda. She is the Assistant District Health Officer in charge of Maternal and Child Health and has worked hard to reduce maternal and child morbidity and mortality. She is very instrumental in mentoring nurses and midwives and mobilizing the community to seek health services. Her work in the conflict and war-torn area gives her a special place in the nursing and midwifery family in Uganda.
