On Christmas Eve the Emergency Department was extremely busy with over 12 in the waiting room and 6 floor holds. The wait time was up to 2 hours and a surge alert was called.
Regina went above and beyond and told the Nursing Supervisor she had no problem helping out in the Emergency Department. Regina helped place IVs and draw blood in triage/vertical care.
Regina demonstrated true teamwork in a great time of need in the Emergency Department. The entire Emergency Department staff is beyond grateful for her help.
