February 2025 Honoree
Regina Snider-Godinez, BSN, RN
I felt so comfortable the moment Regina walked into my room to start her night shift. She made it clear that whatever I needed at any time, even if it was to get help to grab my water, to call her. She answered every question I had. I was worried when she told me she was going to give a bath to my baby since it would be at midnight, but the way she explained the whole process, I felt very comfortable with it. She made sure my water pitcher had water since the previous shift forgot to bring me water. I was very hungry that night, and I felt very comfortable asking her for a late snack. She brought me a sandwich, a pudding, and some chips. She really made a difference for me, and I am sure she makes other mothers feel the same way. I was sad because at the end of the shift, when she came to say bye, I was in the shower, and I could not thank her.
***
Regina was very nice to us and attentive to our needs. She went above and beyond bathing our daughter, feeding and burping her, so we could get a little more sleep. She did her best to make sure we were comfortable during our stay.
