Rafaela’s family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Regina for the love, compassion, and respect she showed while caring for my mother. To our family, and especially to my mother, Regina was truly an angel and deserves to be recognized for the extraordinary care she provided to her COVID patients.
Five years have passed, and by chance today I was finally able to meet her and personally thank her for being such an incredible nurse. We will always respect and appreciate her for making my mother’s difficult time a little easier while she was alone. Although my mother has since passed away, our family remains forever grateful for everything Regina did for us.
Regina touched the lives of so many people during COVID. To our family, she is an angel who deserves recognition for her compassion, dedication, and selflessness throughout the pandemic. She helped me support my mother during the final moments of her life, and that is something I will never forget.
After five years, I ask that our story be heard and that Regina receive the recognition she so greatly deserves for the incredible difference she made in the lives of others during COVID.
