Even though Reggie's official job description is admission nurse, he is more than that. He has excellent clinical skills and is always willing to assist any nursing unit that would need his help. Not only for admissions, but IVs and blood draws and anything else that they need. He is an excellent wingman to our nursing admin team; assisting with opening overflow units, reassessing admitted patients in the emergency department for appropriateness of posted level of care, helping with consults and even finding supplies and needed equipment. Reggie always has a very pleasant and calming behavior. Somebody said that seeing Reggie makes her smile. A patient was very thankful that Reggie stayed at his side because he was very anxious and needed reassurance.
