Reggie would say little things to make me laugh, to lift my spirits, and to keep my spirits up.
When I was in my worst state and having an anxiety attack, I didn’t feel like the nursing staff liked me and wanted to help. Reggie made me laugh and talked with me. Then he went to see what medication would help. Every day after, he checked on me to make sure I was ok. He would ask me if I talked with my family and how my daughter was. Talking about my daughter always lights up my heart. Reggie was always on top of getting my medication on time in a timely manner. When doctors wouldn’t get my medication right or had them at the wrong time, Reggie would advocate for me and talk with the doctor to correct things for me. He always makes sure we have nice, cold ice water when we need it and at meals. Reggie would say little things to make me laugh, to lift my spirits, and to keep my spirits up. He did this all without expecting a thank you. And he always went above and beyond even when he was exhausted from working long hours, I trusted him greatly. I can tell he has a true love for nursing and taking care of all of us patients.
