Reichelle Davis is the embodiment of what it means to be a DAISY Nurse. She has worked in oncology for many years. Throughout those years, she has helped create a healing environment for her patients.

Reichelle always advocates for patient safety and well-being. She treats her patients with the utmost respect and compassion, and on their darkest days, she manages to bring a smile to their faces. She is a beacon of hope and happiness for our oncology patients. Here is a message from one of her long-standing and beloved patients:

“Reichelle has been my oncology nurse for over two years. She is the kindest person I have ever met. Her expertise is exceptional! She truly cares for her patients; actually, she treats me like a friend or family member. I hit the jackpot at getting her.”

Now Reichelle is loved not only by her patients but also by her team members. Reichelle serves as a resource to our newer nurses and even those who have been established. She has done a magnificent job precepting our newly hired nurses; she has built their confidence and knowledge in oncology. As a fellow team member, I see Reichelle as a nurse filled with wisdom in nursing and dedicated to her job.

She helps run the infusion center efficiently and is always willing to go the extra mile for us. For instance, she makes hilarious videos to celebrate each team member’s birthday, and she uses her creative side to decorate our computers and create unique, funny gifts. Reichelle is a positive light to our infusion center, and one of her most beloved qualities is her sense of humor. Working in oncology can at times be emotionally difficult; however, with Reichelle by our side, we can always count on a good and fun day despite our challenges.
